2. Description of Service

BABEL is an AI-powered conversation analysis application that decodes emotional subtext and implied meaning of text messages and chat screenshots.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use BABEL.

4. User Accounts

Sign in via Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit illegal content
  • Use BABEL to harass or stalk others
  • Reverse engineer the application
  • Use BABEL for commercial surveillance
  • Circumvent usage limits

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Interpretations are for informational and entertainment purposes only. BABEL does not guarantee accuracy. AI interpretations may be inaccurate. Do not make important decisions based solely on AI output.

7. Subscription and Payments

  • Free Tier: 3 decodes per day
  • Premium: Unlimited decodes and features
  • Subscriptions managed via Apple App Store
  • Auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal
  • Refunds per Apple App Store policy

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding are property of BABEL and its licensors.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant BABEL a limited license to process content for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

12. Limitation of Liability

BABEL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed amounts paid by you in the preceding 12 months.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of BABEL constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
